Fraternity and Sorority Mission

The Fraternity and Sorority community is dedicated to the personal and professional development of members through a wide range of activities and experiences. We are committed to promoting life-long involvement in individual organizations, as well as our collective community to positively impact the lives of both undergraduate and alumni members while building and maintaining a fraternity and sorority community worthy enough to serve the University and the people of Manhattan.

Fall 2018 Recruitment

Fraternity Recruitment

Interested in joining a fraternity? Register for the Interfraternity Council Recruitment Database here. Find helpful information and resources about the fraternity recruitment process here. A new fraternity is expanding to campus this fall, Alpha Sigma Phi. Look for them around campus and in the Union the first few weeks of the semester!

Sorority Recruitment

Primary recruitment is over, which means the time for Continuous Open Bidding has come! Two chapters are participating this fall - with 2-20 spots depending on the organization: Alpha Gamma Delta, and Sigma Kappa. To begin the COB process, please fill out the registration form, which gives your information to the participating chapters.

Community Updates

PHC is excited to welcome Alpha Omega Epsilon as an associate member to the Panhellenic sorority community! Alpha Omega Epsilon is a sorority for women in engineering and technical sciences. Like AOE on Facebook or follow them at @AOE_betatau.

Beta Upsilon Chi, or Brothers Under Christ, is the newest IFC fraternity, colonized in fall 2016 and joined IFC in February 2017. For information about BYX, visit www.betaupsilonchi.org

As of May 19, 2014, the Beta Kappa chapter of Sigma Nu fraternity has lost recognition as an Interfraternity Council member, and has been suspended from campus. If you are interested in joining this fraternity, please be aware that it is not currently recognized until at least August 1, 2018, when the Interfraternity Council could hear Sigma Nu's first request to re-charter.
