Fraternity and Sorority Mission

The Fraternity and Sorority community is dedicated to the personal and professional development of members through a wide range of activities and experiences. We are committed to promoting life-long involvement in individual organizations, as well as our collective community to positively impact the lives of both undergraduate and alumni members while building and maintaining a fraternity and sorority community worthy enough to serve the University and the people of Manhattan.

About the Community

The Greek community at Kansas State University has been in existence since 1913, with a continuing tradition of excellence. Through the years, the community has fostered academic excellence, leadership ability, philanthropic services, and has actively contributed to both the campus and Manhattan communities. The Greek community consists of 19 sororities and 30 fraternities, with a total membership of almost 4,000 undergraduate students. While each organization maintains its own activities, traditions, and national affiliations, each founded on similar principles of scholarship, leadership, community service, and lifelong friendship.
