Fraternity and Sorority Mission

The Fraternity and Sorority community is dedicated to the personal and professional development of members through a wide range of activities and experiences. We are committed to promoting life-long involvement in individual organizations, as well as our collective community to positively impact the lives of both undergraduate and alumni members while building and maintaining a fraternity and sorority community worthy enough to serve the University and the people of Manhattan.

Membership Intake

NPHC fraternities and sororities do a recruitment process called membership intake.

The membership review process involves submitting an application directly to the fraternity/sorority you're interested in. The chapter holds a series of interviews with prospective members to determine who will receive invitations to join. Check each chapter's website for recruitment dates, details, and contact information.

NPHC sororities do not participate in the fall Primary Panhellenic Recruitment process.
